This white van came into us for a full camper conversion it is a plain white van and we will be spraying it Shadow blue. One of the first steps will be to strip the van out and wire it up then we will have to get painting to give the van a face lift.
We have now sprayed the can Shadow blue we have cut out the windows ready for the glass to be fitted and we have cut out the roof ready to fix the elevating roof on. The van has been completly stripped and now we have it painted we can start the conversion.
Whilst we have been stripping and painting the van we have also been producing the interior for Mambo, the interior is natural oak finish with a large rear waredrobe. This is just about to be laquered and then it is ready to do the fitting of the electrics.
The below pictures are an update of the Shadow Blue respray :-)
We have just finished carpet linning mambos van he chose a dark grey the next step will be the flooring.
This is a picture of the front seats we are planning to put in and matching the rear rock and roll bed. The seats are from a brand new 11 reg van and are the comfort seats with the arm rests.
The next stage in the conversions is fitting the front lifting JAS roof system, the roof has been prepaired and colour coded in Shadow Blue to match the van.
We have also now fitted the slate grey Altra flooring into the van, so the next stage is to install the interior.
We have now fitted the roof canvas down and trimmed the inside of the van this now finishes off the carpet lining and the roof.
The interior is in the process of being installed, all the electrics are now complete and hiden away behind the interior, with the final trims it will be fixed into place and the gas installed.
We have now installed the gas hob and sink to the interior also we have fitted a small fridge.
The interior is pretty much all in and fitted Mambo chose to have 2 storage cuboards above the cooker.
We have fitted Mambos rock and roll bed frame we just have to wait for the seats to go with it to be fitted.
